Magnifying Eyepiece - Nikon D-70
Magnifying eyepiece for Nikon D-70? I do wear glasses & I have an eye exam later this week. Anything I need to mention, other than, I use a camera a lot?
Since increasing my use of my Nikon D-70, I've had a concern about seeing “things” in focus & eyestrain. This appeared even more so this week using my extension tubes.
What will help also is taking a break from shooting, to give my eye a break, especially doing the close-up/macro stuff.

Rick,
If you experience much eyestrain with the Nikon D70, it's possible that your diopter setting is wrong for your eye. Check your owner's manual on how to adjust the diopter on the viewfinder of your camera.
As for which magnifier, I suspect the Nikon DG-2 Eyepiece Magnifier would work well for you.

Note:
It looks like you also need this adapter:

Here's some great information I got from my eye exam.
1) Take a break from shooting for a minute or two & focus on something off in the distance. Your eye has been doing fine focusing work from looking through the viewfinder. (I know this, but usually don't stop.)
2) Every 5 minutes, for 20 minutes after shooting, use eye drops. Why? You eye doesn't blink much while shooting & therefore, you eye dries out.
