Intense head to head kayak racing!

The light sucked but then it usually does taking kayaking photos.
Head to head racing in the PBR Whitewater Event held in Idaho this weekend.

    Really nice shots for sure.

    Its hard to shoot kayaking and rafting because if you expose for the faces the water is blown out, you did great in keeping it all balanced out..

    The cropping is perfect!!

    Yeah, don't I know it! Surfing can be the same way. Great shots zoomer.

    Anyone got any shooting tips to help solve that problem??

    Personally, I started in 'P' mode...switched to Av and adjusted ISO for high Tv...now I'm working in manual mode, but takes practice.
