Haven't posted a picture in a long time - been away...I'm back for a while so if you can view the picture and give me some feedback.

My best,

The photos are nice but the layout is poor. Why cover her face?
Move the photos down.. divide the width of the main photo by 4. The font also does no justice, and looks cheesy.

Thanks Owen...saw it in a photo mag...just trying to copy it. I will more than likely moved the boxes to the side, or lower them.

The main picture in the mag...had a picture of eyes only. Thought I would do a partial face.

Thanks for your C&C...it helps to read what people actually think of this type of layout.

    Thanks again.

I think eyes only would be better than covering just the nose. It's a cute idea though. I'd rethink the 3rd inset photo, I don't think it's as strong as the others. And there's a small grey spot on her temple that looks out of place, you could clone that out easily. Otherwise it's nice - thumb.gif

She's got beatiful eyes, doesn't she!

I agree w/ the others... the covered nose was the 1st thing that popped out at me and then I noticed the cute baby. I think the crop of her face is tight enough that it might be hard just to move the inset shots down - what about running along one side?

    just my $0.02

Thank you all for your comments. Never know if something is going to work unless you get opinions from others.

    THanks.

    Wow! What awesome pictures!

I agree that you should re-think the layout. Just because something is in a photography magazine doesn't mean its necessarily a great idea sometimes.

I would also replace that 3rd photo to the right. Its not of the same par as the others IMO.

That close-up is just Fantastic! Thanks for sharing : )

Ps. My wife and I are about to have our first child and we just found out its a girl. I'm a little softy ATM and can't wait to start clicking snaps... (Laughing.gif)

First of all - CONGRATULATIONS on the pregnancy clap.gif - you will absolutely love being a parent...I've been one now for 15 years and my son is my everything to me. Believe me when I say...you'll spend lots of hours just looking at your daughter sleep. It's a Love that you just can't explain.

Thanks for the kind words on my photos - this is my Step-grandbaby. Yeah when I see something in a magazine...I want to try and copy it - this was a photo mag...and I thought it was cool. However, it didn't work with these pictures. I too looked at it before I posted it and thought it was just weird...but wanted to get others to comment on it.

You can't grow unless you get opinions in this line of work. So thanks...and once again...congratulations !wings.gif
