Better than darts is your input. :clap
Which would you put in as an entry?

(2) Unsafe Viewing Spot (angle)
Hit the shutter and turned to run while holding my breath and ducking. Can you say "Hairdo via vortex"

Thanks for your input.

I vote for number one. Number two is a great shot and I really like it (don't think I would have attempted it myself :D) but it doesn't really say angular to me. And maybe this is just me, but if you could reshoot the first one with a little less flash in the foreground it would be even more pleasing...

    #1 is excellent - though I do have a thing for abstracts:D
#2 seems to lack abvious angles or curves

Great shot, and if this is not curvy, I don't know what is... thumb.gif

    Hi Steven!

I love #1, what a beautiful abstract! It totally reflects curvy. However, at first I thought it was noisy, but I think it might be the texture in the surfaces. It's such a smooth flow and nice composition, I wonder if running a 'dust and scratches' would add anything to the smoothness without making it look too soft.

edit: BTW - #2 is very cool! (but #1 is much stronger for the challenge)

How's about some post processing of #1

    Nice evocative shot...

Sorry for the Yea-but, but, i think this shot is slightly overpowering and needs postprocessing to
    1. limit the graininess
    2. lower the exposure of the front portion
an NDF filter in PS might help

#1 for the challenge for sure. I love the play of light and shadow. I'd try out Joe's suggestions and see if you like the result better, but it is a solid entry. I hope you the crop duster didn't fly over you right after you took that shot, which is seriously neat, btw. rolleyes1.gif

I agree. Some Neat Image or Noise Ninja would be a help, IMO. The grain is rough on my eyes and at conflict with the curves. Beware blowout.

    Big Mistake!
Thank you soooo much to all of you who provided valuable feedback!! Yesterday I took my two daughters to ballet practice and wouldn't you know it...something curvy was there. So now which you enter?

Both need pp yet, but conceptually...?

    Thanks in advance.

#1 for me, though I'm not sure why you felt the need to rotate it in that manner ne_nau.gif I think it better the way you shot it, or possibly roated, but cropped

I agree. Number 1, but not sure that it needs to be rotated...

    Picking between the two...

I would definently pick #1 without the rotation, perhaps a crop.

I love #2 also but to me it looks more like an abstract painting

I agree with pyroprints. I really really like #2, but #1 definitely grips the viewer and has a focal point too (maybe I am obsessing about this focal point thingy too much headscratch.gif).

    Great captures!
