This is my little niece Isabel.

I know part of the chair to the right is distracting, need to go away, doesn't it?:dunno

Her mom was right behind her, so i have that big white shirt, which is distracting as well.

I would like to know what you all think.

Thanks!

    She's a cutie : )

The outfit can be a bit distracting. I'm not a photographer but patterns like that are really tough to work with when dealing with video (I know thats of no help sorry...).

    Nice picture though.

Thank you for the reply. That's the first thing i noticed, her dress is hurting my eyes. I'm not sure how to deal with different clothing patterns, especially like this one. ne_nau.gif

Did you do anything to make her eyes that color or is that natural? If it is natural, I would soooo be taking way more shots of her!!! Especially ones with her wearing solid colors that bring the eye color out and really focus on them (have her look at the camera). She's a doll!

To my knowledge it would be best to avoid tight clothing patterns. It hurts your eyes exactly as you said and it becomes blury to the eye even though its not. In video it does more then hurt your eyes but it will cause the clothing to flicker also...

I agree. Nice eyes, different clothing : )

She's a cutie. Love the blue eyes and the fact that she is not directly facing you.

Nice shot. The lighting is well done and she certainly is a cute kid.

Patterns are a pain, but you can't always avoid them. Using a very narrow depth of field can sometimes help. If you apply sharpening, you should mask the clothing so as not to make the problem even worse.

    Cheers,
