Niek Haak has contributed the first in a multi-part series Review of the Sony H9 using the Nightshot feature for full sunlight Infrared shooting. There are a couple of surprises with this camera.
There are also a number of issues to be dealt with, but it appears that there is also great potential in this camera for IR.
The key here is that it retails for approximately what the conversion alone costs to mod a dslr.
