Using the DOF exercise I have been trying to get more DOF in my macros. Here are some examples with ants all shot with F14, manual focus, hand-held, flash, shutter speed 400 and ISO of 200 I believe.

The cucumber beetle is here. I had posted this in the wildlife forum but for some who spend more time in here, I post it here as well.

Hello Skippy. I am using a Canon 100mm. I think I am going to have to invest in some tubes to allow me to focus even more. I'd love to get some nice insect macros!

Lovely captures Stephen. Like the way the ants encourage the flyers to get off the ground. Never seen anything like the cucumber beetle.
