I'm sorry mate but I can't say I like it. To start with I am not a fan of selective colouring (but that is just me, others love it). And the eyes look to PP for me.

Plus seeing dogs lick people's mouths makes my stomach turn . And yes I am a dog person, I have a dog, but I can't stand the licks

On the plus side it is nice and sharp!!!

Uhhh no...this doesn't work for me. I'm with the other comment...dogs and licking faces of humans just is icky to me. After my female dog had puppies and what she does with their poopy...:puke1 I will never ever let her lick not even my leg - and yes I'm also a dog lover. Don't even get me started on cats they're worse.

Sorry dude...not a good shot. I'll give you this...the picture is sharp as a razor.

I was actually trying to get a picture of our faces together while holding my 50mm at arm's length and she just wouldn't sit still!

Imagine that from a puppy...

When I saw that I had captured her tounge I figured it was a neat picture.

What do you think if I took the color off the eyes and just left the tounge?

Selective coloring is hard to choose where to put it. I don't think it works at all in this picture. Again JMHO.

As much as I like this picture of my step-grand-daughter...I had to re-think this picture a couple of times. In my opinion, you need more of the dog in the picture for this particular shot to work.

I don't care for the picture based on the fact that I don't like dogs licking my face. However, I like the expression in the eyes. If it were me I would slightly desaturate the tongue, so that it is not so colorful and bright. With the tongue the way it is, I didn't even notice the expression right away. Just my 2 cents.
