Potential Customer Asked to Join Site and Provide a Password?

I got an email from a potential customer who tried to buy a photo and said they were asked to join and provide password information? I'm not sure how long ago he tried to order?

Is this how it works? I've never had anyone else mention this to me before.

What they were most likely referring to is being asked to create a password during the purchasing process. People do not need to create an account with us to buy photos, but they are asked to create a password so they can go back and check on their order.
