Okay, so I decided to try a different idea - any thoughts on how good they are? Here are 3 images:

neat idea! i think i like #1 the best, however you might want to consider reducing the noise.

I almost agree. It's definetly #1 for me, but I like the noise there.

Thanks, Tessa and Pyroprints. I actually increased the grain on the first image, hence the noisy feel. I'll try and reshoot to see if I can come up with something more striking.

    Thanks again!

    Like your idea.
Nice images although they were too small to see their details.
    Good luck

All nice, but I prefer the design simplicity of the first one which makes it sort of serenely curvey. The grain doesn't bother me but to me it also doesn't add to the thematic impact so, FWIW, I think I would back off on the noise for this challenge.

Thanks, Kombizz and Virginia. I did some reshooting and decided to post a different one in as my challenge. Thanks for your feedback!

    Hi Sunita,

I like these pics clap.gif. They make beautiful abstracts. Are these paper things that you put together? Photograph them on the floor or table, natural light?

Good choice for the challenge. Good luck.

Like the increased mystery of the angle and lighting. More engaging.

    Thanks, guys!

Jill, yes, they are mostly paper thingies and I shot them on my study table with the morning light streaming in from the window on the left.
