Big Web Guy Sands Theme Hack Please

vegasphotogvegasphotog Registered Users Posts: 114 Major grins
Thanks for the 'SANDS" theme...I really like it...but, I am trying to implement my own FLASH slideshow in my bioBox and the this theme is freaking out. I was successful integrating the javascript slideshow seamlessly so I am guessing the javascript code somehow superceded the CSS. But, wondering if you have any ideas why my Flash show is having problems?

TIA!

    Hey Robert,

I was actually checking out your site yesterday.

I don't believe that issue is theme related, but rather a common flash issue. I did some investigation into this problem a few months ago when someone was trying to do something similar.

I need to look the info up again.

    Cheers,

I don't know the answer, but the first thing I would try, right off, is to put the flash code in it's very own div. A new div, of your making. Not a SmugMug div.

    Thanks guys....

I did try to put < *div > < */div > (obviously without the typos) at the start and finish of my code within the bioBox text area to no avail.

Worth a shot, I guess...it helped me with Google Calendar embedding, figgered it might help with flash. <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/ne_nau.gif" border="0" alt="" >

Hi David (is it beginning to look like winter down under????:cry)

The reason I thought it was Theme related was because rainforest was able to embed it just fine with a standard background....but, I have created my color scheme and icons all around the sands theme.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Abort?
So, I am guessing with all the true coders around here that maybe my issue is more involved than I would have guessed....I am willing to create my own style sheet if I could hear that there is little chance my issue will have some remedy?

I understand this is a volunteer help center...so, I do appreciate the help....thumb.gif
