After a while , depending on?, PSCS3 is crashing. I am asked to sent an error repport to msn with following indication:

AppName: photoshop.exe AppVer: 10.0.0.0 ModName: msvcr80.dll
ModVer: 8.0.50727.163 Offset: 0000892c

Anyone an idea how to solve, where to look?

Did you have the beta CS3 installed? Lots of issues over that-- check the Adobe user forums. It took me about three days to finally get rid of the beta and install a working version of CS3. Also, there's already an update to ACR and Bridge-- that update fixed a problem I had with Bridge crashing in XP.

On the otherhand, I did a clean install of CS3 on a notebook with Vista, so I'm guessing there are unique situations based on your OS too.

    CS3 and Crashes
I too have been having a lot of trouble since installing CS3. I find Bridge to be far slower than the CS2 version and it crashes from time to time, whereas CS2 did not.

I've also had Photoshop crash on me as well...and that was quite a shock.

I have a 4 gig PC running XP...a WACOM tablet. I've set the switch to allow PC applications to address 3 gig at a time (which PS is great about utilizing). I was not a CS3 beta user, although I did install the Lightroom Beta (which I have since removed). Inisde bridge I've selected the quickest thumbnailing technique (low quality all the time).

    Any thoughts?

There's an update to bridge already-- do you have that? I had issues with Bridge until I updated-- now it's definitely faster than the CS2 Bridge. Also, check the Adobe user forums-- some good info there about all kinds of issues (and some solutions) from other users.
