Hi Y'all,

On Tuesday and Wednesday I was back at the Alligator Farm with two old friends and outstanding shooters, Harris Goldberg and Mike McAtee. We had a fine time shooting, dining, drinking and smoking some really fine Cuban cigars.

I managed to get in a few shots

The 70-200mm 2.8 continues to amaze me. Here's a 100% crop from the above shot

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

That first one is a great shot! It has a unique pose. The rasslin' gators are always fun to capture. The cattle egret is another fine shot and who doesn't like the color of a spoonbill? Sounds like you had some great fun.

Wow, fantastic shots Harry. You can't ask for any sharper pictures. Oh and I see the baby finally stuck its head up so you could get a shot of it. Did you get any good shots of the launch? I was there but was lined up on the wrong pad when it went up so I didn't get any decent shots of the launch.

Thanks Ric and nothing embarrasses cattle egrets. I mean they hang around cows all days waiting on bugs.

Any Cubans I have I'm keeping and I'm talking about the cigars. Now I could make you a deal on my lawn person, Eduardo. :ivar
