While you did a great job doing the effect, it is a bit lost because of all the clutter in the side / foreground. The kids are cute (of course!) but I just wish it was composed differently. They do seem to be enjoying themselves!
Keep on shooting! You have some great subjects!

    Welcome to DGrin!

While I'm usually not a big fan of selective colorization (SC), this one is well done and not over-done. Sometimes the SC has the effect of being just too much in your face. This is more subtle.

15524779-Ti.gif with heatherfeather - the foreground and the right side of the photo are a bit cluttered. The SC does reduce the impact of the clutter and draw your attention to the children. If this were a full-color image or straight B&W, I believe it would fail for all the clutter. The SC seems to rescue/save it.

    Just my $.02.

Thank you both for your comments. I was hoping the selective color would help with the clutter in the photo.
