In a small hick town newspaper, with a small byline. But Published none the less.....

I'll get a copy this sunday hopefully and post it. The newspaper forgot to send their photographer so seeing as I was there doing the photography for my day job I got "volunteered" to do it. And of course they held up the entire paper for my picture (getting calls from editors at 5pm asking where the photo, you didn't know you were supposed to send in, is.... Not my idea of fun).

What a productive day, two new prospective client calls, published in a newspaper, and I'm already _______ editors off. :barb :barb :barb :barb

Congrad's. Our local newspaper gives credit as "provided by local source" only when not photographed by newspaper source. They don't get too many from professionals because of their policy.

Yeah, before they even got a copy of my photo I had already clarified with them on the phone that I was a member of the PPA and my thoughts on them publishing my photo without giving me complete credit for it. The PPA doesn't really like that sorta thing. They have attorneys for helping their members solve that kinda problem.

I'll post the picture monday when I get back to work as I didn't bring a copy of the file home. It wasn't anything great, just one of those posed ground breaking ceremony photos. Very boring, but makes our clients happy.
