yes. i did my research. but im having a hard time choosing. this cam will be used underwater. of course with the underwater case. what is better for you?

    How serious are you about this endeavor and how much money are you willing to spend?

    Snorkel or SCUBA?

    What depth?

    Lighting?

    Water clarity?

    Subject matter?

    Temperature?

    I have the F30 with water case. I highly recommend this set up for snorkeling. I did not scuba with the set up, but believe it would work just as well. Here are a few shots I took on a recent vacation.

    The f30 is highly praised in dpreview.com for it's high iso performance ...
    Nikon D80 , D50 , SB600 , SB800 , Nikon 18-200VR , Tamron 28-75 di 2.8 , Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 , Nikon 50mm 1.8 . Tamron 17-50 f2.8 , Nikon 70-200 VR f2.8 .
