Pro T Bracket Question

How do you attach it to a tripod?

I looked on B&H and there is a QR set, but I'm not sure it will do what I want.

I want the camera mounted on the bracket and be able to use it like that or attached the whole thing to a tripod.

I called B&H and the guy I got said just to use the QR plate from my Bogen and screw that into the frame. Well that's all fine and dandy but when you put the QR plate on the frame there is no where for the screw that holds the camera to the bracket.

Am I just bracket challenged here? Anyone use this bracket and have the QR set that goes with it?

I have a Pro-T bracket and can tell you that it is beveled on the bottom with a QR plate built in. There are also a screw hole on the bottom for any other plate that may need to be installed along with the screw to mount the camera with. Also, make sure you can get an anti-twist plate for your camera. The screw to mount the cam is quite long and is needed to mount the anti twist plate.

Let us know if you have any other questions about this...

ProT is probably different from PressT. I have the latter. It does not fit Arca-Swiss style QR clamp of my Acratech V2, too wide :-(
Needs an adaptor (looks like any plate will do, basically)

You may want to have a look through the Really Right Stuff site for the
brackets, etc. They've got a great selection of stuff that might meet your
    needs.

    Thanks guys!!!
I'm trying to make use of what I have right now. I do want to save up to get a better bracket in the future. Ive heard a lot of good things about the RSS brackets.

My ProT does have a beveled bottom that would fit in the mount on my ballhead on my tripod but it's too long!

Someone has suggested to get a different screw. (No jokes please!) One that doesn't have the big round plastic knob on it. Then I should be able to mount the camera to the bracket and then the quick release plate on the bottom covering the flat head of the new screw. Hope that makes sense. It does to me and I'll have to make a trip to the hardware store and look around.

Seymore, it came with a anti slip plate for EOS but it's the one for without a battery grip. Iv'e got one on the way from B&H to work with the BG.

    Thanks again everyone!
