We were out at white sands NM yesterday for the sunset. I wanted to try to get some pics of her. The ones she has don't do her any justice at all.. I wanted to capture the way I see her.

Can someone PS this for me? It was really bright and I should have dialed down the exposure a little.

Hi there, good shots, however, 2nd one is quiet dark, her white shirt looks grey and her arms and legs are very shaded. The last shot looks overexposed. 1st one is pretty good except i feel overwhelmed by the skies and girl almost disapears in comparision. Post some more, i loved your other shots of white sand. :D

Here's the other one... Yeah they are overexposed..
Come to notice, I was focused on her and didn't square the photo with the horizon.

    Overexposed?
I think the exposure is pretty good. Maybe a few spots of blown highlights on her shirt, but otherwise it looks as if everything held together pretty good. I think that the lack of black in the scene just gives that impression, however your blacks are black. I like them. Many times exposure is a matter of opinion, and histograms are often over rated.

    Some PP on #3
Here is some real quick PP on the #3. Really simple, just duplicated the picture, multiply blend to darken the sky, then masked her to bring back the original brightness.

I'm still new at this people thing... I'm starting to recognise a good shot here and there...

ie: I saw my buddy's 4 y/o son drinking a Coke~a~Cola.. the can was big in front of his face, I just thought it would have been a good shot... Too bad I didn't have the camera... I'm getting there..
