Peacocks with the 70-200f4IS

Hi, I just was so impressed with this lens this weekend. The colors are so nice and most of these needed little sharpening, or processing. I wish canon could come up with a 200-500 like it! Fun day at the Arboretum!

    Imagine the size the lens would be if they did make a 70-500mm eek7.gif
    but gosh that would cover quite the range wouldn't it thumb.gif

    Hi, they had a little fight while I was there. Unreal. They can be nasty!
    Yeah, a 200-500 would suffice! [IS of course] Can you imagine how many theyd sell? Overdue.

    Great shots, beautiful color! I love the 3rd photo of the back where all his feathers are down. He has an elegant and royal behind! :D

    Not only are these tack sharp, they have terrific colour and contrast. That is one sweet piece of glass in what are obviously capable hands. Well done.
