Well folks I havent posted many pics but I chose to throw some out from watching my friends band at the Double Door in Chi town on Friday night. Let me know what you think.

    That first one you nailed-- best of the bunch in my opinion. I'm not a concert shooter but I've tried my hand at it and the big mistake I made was being front row center. The singer always looked odd with the mic right in her face (and the mic blocked her mouth). Then it occured to me-- shooting from the side will still show the mic and singer, but not hide the singer's features!

    That's a long way of explaining why I think the first shot works well but the other two sort of look like snaps (at least to me).
