Not sure what sort of bird this is but it was feeding about 20 feet from where I was shooting whales

    Nice shots! Those kite closeups are wonderful. Did you blur the background on those? Looks like it may have bled into the beak feathers on the second kite shot.

    So where are the whale shots? mwink.gif

    Very good! I love those kite shots. And I don't know that that small bird is but it is quite handsome.

    Beautiful images. I have seen posts from Australia on another forum of these birds and if memory serves me, the first one is a honey eater. I can't be certain as they are not shown in my North American bird guides. Someone will probably be able to verify if it is or not.
