This is my first attempt at bike photos since getting my XTi. These were taken with a 100-300 1:4.5-5.6. I was having a hard time with focusing and getting a reasonably clear shot. I’m not sure if it's because I was at 300mm hand held, the quality of the lens (it was a hand me down) or the fact that I just don’t have the skill yet (most likely!). These are all unfortunately considerably cropped. I just couldn’t get in close enough from behind the wall to fill the frame. I'd love any tips!
