    Anne,

Congrats on the new purchase, if you need any help at all, just holler, or stop by Andy's Unofficial, Unsolicited Mac Advice Thread.

    nerd vs pretty boy
I have an idea. Let's ask our esteemed mods to make a new thread akin to Great Canon vs Nikon debate and move all our trash over there, thus leaving Ann's post in its original pristine state...
We can even call it "Ugly PC vs Pretty Mac Holy War" lol3.gif

Joy & Sorrow ~ But NO Photos
I learn the most from missed shots. Much of my progress has been from analyzing failed and missed shots. That brutal tear at you feeling can be quite motivational when new opportunities strike ;-)

And it is absolutely true that you can't shoot an event you are participating in. It really is one or the other, but not both, type of affair.
Shay, I still owe you a response on the landscape issue; but your present reply really resonated here...

I posted the landscape thingy on Saturday morning.
Sunday evening I was stranded 60 miles from home and had to be pulled in... arriving about 2200 hours, NO photos.
Thursday evening, after a repair and another trip, I was stranded 10 miles from home (different problem) ...NO photos.

Guess stranding I, if photographed, would come under the title of Sorrow.

But our happines title would be Joy for stranding II - the old Saab is back, appears to run, and I am finally getting back to LPS!

Will be back later on the landscape thingy... aftre downloading the LPS 7 stuff to eval.
    Joe
