I met up with Jeff, and Ben at Bolsa for a few tern shots! Also had an appearance of JohnDC!
The Elegant Terns are quite happy to share in someone else's catch!
Sometimes this is not appreciated.
It's always fun to see a good flip! (composite of 3 images)
My photo assistant knows where the big ones are!
Almost forgot the twist!

Kind of messes their hair-do when they do that twist! These are just amazing! What shutter speed do you typically use when shooting these speed demons??? They're way to fast for my reflexes.
I love the in flight shots of the Terns, and also the close up of the Egret. Well done. Sounded like a fun day! I have to get down there. Do you park on the back side, or the long walk route? thnx

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Susan! I usually keep the shutter speed around 1200 or so, and the F stop around F8.

Thanks Linda! Sometimes I park by the bridge, and other times in the back. I usually end up walking all over the place anyway!
