Birdhouses

I found this set of birdhouses behind a house near downtown Denver. While I was taking these the couple that lived there walked up, no doubt wondering what the heck I was doing taking pictures of the back of their house. After I explained that I wasn't a peeping tom they seemed rather flattered. The birdhouses were made by the mother & her daughter as summer projects.

C&C always appreciated. In particular on the first one, as it's my personal favorite. Thanks!

All of these are actually facing onto an alleyway, but that's something I definitely don't want to come through in the photos. It's amazing what you can find in alleys....

I like the first shot particularly how the colors of the birdhouse match the flowers in the background ... I think maybe a slightly wider view would have been niceclap.gif great colors on all of them!

While these images are good, I wonder if it would be possible to get several of them in one shot? That might be a very fun shot, too!

It would be fun, but unfortunately they're all 10-20 feet apart and strung out along an alleyway.

I like the first one best, too, because it incorporates a view of their pretty garden. I wonder how the birds like these bright, cheery colors? :D
