    Yeah, I'd have to agree-- the third is my favorite, because of the translucency of the grasshopper. Nice capture!

    Hi Janie, great series, but I am intrigued with the last shot.
    Those long legged spiders have quite an unusual body.
    Last year when I was in USA I got to see them, and was surprised to see they were in fact a lot bigger than I thought they would be.

    The daddy-long-legs we find inside our houses are different to those ones.
    The bodies are quite tiny though the legs are still long.

    You can clearly see each joint of the leg to the body in that shot thumb.gif

    Excellent series Janie think I like the skipper most though.
    Last shot is a harvestman - not strictly a spider (only has 2 eyes) but closely related to them.
    Still trying to work out what #1 is- but it looks like a narcissus fly - type of largish hoverfly.

    Very nice shots, but that spider is so icky! Laughing.gif I love the grasshopper one, too.
