Must be Andy's fault, but why on earth would you name the advrider smilies differently over here? :huh :scratch :flip

Can you make them consistent, please?

I am not sure what the deal is. Some of them require a : before and after the text, not sure why or if it is a version 3 deal.

It is my new project. I am going to remove the second colon from the smiles. Some may not show correctly in old posts, but in the future they should be easier to use.

Add some more unhappy smilies too, if you can. Too many positive, happy ones, not enough negative ones. For example, I'd like to have the one-eye squinty guy from ADVRider.

Which one is that? Did you click on the smiles at the bottom of the page? It brings up a lot more, you have to type the code but it is short. Hopefully we can get it to have a link under the smaller box of smiles.

I edited all of the smiles, so older posts will not look right. Sorry for any inconvenience, in the future they will be quicker to type. Let me know if there are any suggestions for new smiles.

    Yikes, 6 wxwax's side-by-side. Aaaaiiiieeeee!!!!

(Okay, I know that for maximum compatibility for the 100 ADVriders over here it should say umph. But think of the unwashed tens of thousands of Digital Grinners future who would be delighted to have a wxwax smilie. :dood

Dude your monitor needs calibrating. umph.gif

rolleyes1.gif That's what they're trying to sell me, anyway. I'm telling them that not everyone has finely tuned monitors that can distiinguish between Royal Black, True Black and Jack Black. ne_nau.gif (that's a shrug, but you can't see his arms. :D)

I figure it will be faster for me to go to Sid's and calibrate his monitor. rolleyes1.gif

There is a lot going on to build those, but I think I am on the right track and I can make with a more contrasting theme. I was thinking Orange and Royal Blue. Hopefully they will be able to see that. I will let you know when I come up with it. I am still learning what all these buttons do. I also have to work very long hours the next few days so it may be a little while.

Do it and risk a serious admin battle :thwak

I recommend staying with shades of gray. Maybe just lighter shades of gray. But since you live close to waxy, go check out his monitor anyway.

Agreed. But Fish, really, it's my work monitor. :hang At a nice progressive company. So it occurs to me that other people, on monitors at their nice progressive companies, might have the same issue.

My home monitor is just fine, thank you.

So, shouldn't you be working at work and not playing? (sorry, couldn't resist :)
