All the competition going on around me, but it was these two girls, off by themselves, that were amazing to watch. The younger girl was teaching the older one. I only wish the shots could have been sharper. And I suppose I should have used a wider apeture and tried to lose some of the distracting background. Skin tones are a bit on the red side, but both subjects are fair skinned and it was a long day in the sunshine...rare, really, for the Northwest. The sun that is, not the fair skin.

I haven't anything brilliant to say but these photos made me smile. These both say "happy" to me.

I like the shots too! Which games were these? A friend of ours competes in the local games, but my g/f was quite sick while he last competed thus we had to bail. The games were near Tenino, if my memory serves me. I was looking forward to shooting the games, but it looks like it'll be a while until he's competing again and we'll most likely have to drive up to Vancouver eek7.gif
