My nephews first days

My nephew was born a couple of weeks ago. His impending birth motivated me to get a SB400 speedlight for bounce lighting. This is his first bath right out of the gates so to speak. He really does have tan skin tones, although it turns red when aggravated :)

My brother took this shot of me and him. He postioned the camera vertical so the light bounced off the wall, not the ceiling. I didn't think it would turn out good, but I learned a trick from my brother who wasn't even trying.

Here's one with my mom and his mimi:

Here's my favorite picture of the events that unfolded. This is my niece looking at her new baby brother getting a bath. I think she can tell her life will not be the same:

Only days old, and he already has an after-bath stylist thumb.gif handsome kid.

The last one is great, but my favorite is the one of you two. You look so proud, and he looks beyond content - totally warmed my heart, great shot.

Thank you. I don't have kids of my own so it's been great watching my niece grow up and be a part of her life. Now I get to do it all over again.:D
