Italian MotoGP: Live and in person!
Hi Grinners,
My wife and I just arrived back in the US a couple of days ago from a wonderful trip to Italy where we spent one Sunday afternoon with about 87,000 Rossi...I mean Racing fans!! There were actually 3 or 4 people there who weren't pulling for Valentino but (unapologetically) I was not one of them
We were only there on race day and I didn't have credentials so shooting locations were reduced to one small area on a muddy hill over-looking two fences...but the whole experience (none the less) was fantastic and I'd like to share with you a few of those memories...
1) A few of the others that we met up with!
2) Even the sun came back out to see the race.
3) Loris Capirossi ringing the Ducati's neck.
4) Danny Padrossa on his way to the podium.
5) Tony Elias grabbed 6th place.
6) Olivier Jacque back in 2007 but having a tough year so far.
7) Rossi fan watching an orange smoke-bomb go off in front of us.
8) The Doctor making a welcomed house call!
9) Ever wonder why Valentino stopped taking victory laps at Mugello?

I love shot #1, it really gives you a perspective of how many Rossi fans are out there... next favourites are #3, that red is a wonderful colour against the gravel background and #7 with the orange in the background is the perfect capture.
Well done as always!

Crgphotographer, thank you as well...
regarding: The Italians seem to love great racing and that's what they're getting lately!
Rossi came back from 8th place to win at Mugello and in case you didn't see the race at Catalunya, Stoner edged Rossi by less than half a second!
They don't like to see Rossi lose (nor do I ) but maybe they feel some consolation knowing its an Italian bike doing so well!!
Thanks again gents!

I'm more a fan of good racing. Sure, I'd like to see Rossi continue but he's
had a great run so if he loses a time or two, no worries.
