I am not seeing your photo, so your external link is probably turned off. I did, however, go to your gallery and see the shot of the bat. Really great capture and great job showing the sense of scale. I would never have believed them to be that tiny!!!
I got a chance to snap this baby bat and boy is it small!

IT MUST BE EXTREMELY SMALL....I have pulled out the magnifying visor and added jewelers loupes and a magnifying glass and still cannot make out an image.......:D

Too cool! Great shots. Most of us have never seen anything like that.
Very wise to be wearing those heavy leather gloves.
I hope it will be cared for and released back to the wild or in a sanctuary.

Cheers. My Mother is involved with licenced Bat Conservation, so, at this time of year she normally gets a few abandoned babies to care for. If possible all are cared for and then released into the wild. It is advised to wear gloves when dealing with bats as there have been one or two cases of Rabies passed to humans through bites in the past. I must stress however that the risk is very low in the UK as it is a rare disease and the bats over here don't really have the jaw strength to break the skin.
