    It's a fun shot... but I don't see any relationship to joy or sorrow? by the way, what is it?

    I agree it's a fun shot, but without any human element it just seems cold/rigid to me. I don't get any emotion out of it.

    The expression on that face doens't make much of an impression. It may be because it is obscured by the water. I wonder if a long (30s+) exposure (shot in the evening or at night, possibly with some ND filters) would leave more of an impression.
