Browsing site and buying pics not working properly

When i browse my site (www.streetsofboston.com) or buy a picture from my site (by this photo --> add to cart), I get strange behavior, on both FireFox and IE.

1. Mostly on FireFox, when i browse (navigation or going to the cart), sometimes i get a pop-up with this message:
Request for data failed (javascript error): Component returned failure code: 0x80040111
(NS_ERROR_NOT_AVAILABLE) [nsIXMLHttpRequest.status]
When i dismiss this pop-up dialog, the page i requested still appears, though. Could it be an outstanding AJAX request that is being pre-empted because i navigate away from the page?

2. When i hit the 'Buy Photo' --> 'Add to Cart' button, it is reported that the shopping cart is empty. Then i go back, hit the 'Buy Photo' --> 'Add to Cart' button again, the cart is actually filled with the item twice (sometimes i have to to 'Buy Photo' --> 'Add to Cart' again because the cart is still empty... but then when it does succeed, the item is in the cart 3 times). This happens on both FireFox and IE.

all I can think is:

Hi Anton, I'll ask someone to have a look at your site.

    Thank you, Andy.
Tell them it is rather hard to reproduce, though. It just happens sometimes. headscratch.gif Best is to try to reproduce it on FireFox.

I've had some clients have issues with this also - and it's random but seems to be popping up about 30% of the time.

Not sure if I have my site www setup correctly, my smugmug is http://jhelms.smugmug.com and my godaddy domain forwarded to smugmug is www.johntookmypicture.com

    Hi,

Forwarding = bad. CNAMEing = good. Check out http://www.smugmug.com/help/professional-accounts for how to set up GoDaddy. If you have any trouble, give us a shout at the help desk and we'll get you fixed up.

Cool, I think that's how I have it setup now, but every time I log in, my browser window shows the "jhelms.smugmug.com/etc" address.

But it looks like everyone else is able to get to the galleries under "johntookmypicture.com/etc."
