Old Summer Camp

This was part of an old summer camp where kids from Boston would come to get away from the city. I think this had been in existance since the '20s. The owners recently decided to give it up and the town bought it to prevent development and preserve the recreational value.

This is a nearly pristine lake in the middle of the grounds. Beautiful setting and a nice afternoon.

Wonderful photo. Looks like a place I would like to put in a canoe and just go exploring. Hope they keep it pristine.

We are trying to keep it pristine. Right now the rule is you can only carry in boats and cars are kept about 1/2 mile away.
