I made it back to Summit Point, WV for a regional race day on June 10. My brother wound up getting his first podium as an expert in the last race of the day (congrats, Nate).

I came away with some really nice images. I think my technique is improving. I also rented the 400/5.6 again, but didn't find it quite as useful as I did during March's trip to VIR. The 70-300 did a bit of work this time, too. Some of my other favorites:

Overshot turn 1, made it a ways onto the gravel before losing to gravity. Nothing hurt but the ego:

Plus, I sold a 24x36 of this just tonight. So psyched about that - first big print sold.

    Good stuff, and good colours..the first motion shot is bang on and even sweeter for being your brother!

    Oh and 'grats for your brother too.

    (you have nailed a good many shots here...and good accurate colours, appropriate sharpening - I could go on...)

    No, I didn't hear what happened. I shot at Shenandoah last August. Neat circuit, but the bike guys don't like it. They call it a concrete jungle. I'm not sure I'd ride there either.
