Yellow Birds And Sunflowers

Some shots I took at a local vegetable stand where they also have a field of corn, wildflowers, and sunflower plants alive with goldfinches. The little goldfinches were so well camouflaged in the yellow flowers I had trouble focusing on one! Everytime I put my viewfinder up to my eye I couldn't find him!! :rofl

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Nice series, Susan. Great color. #2 is my favorite, but I also like the "behind the scene" viewpoint of #3. Well done. thumb.gif

Never really thought of it like that. Have you been looking at too many flowers lately, Ric? rolleyes1.gif

    Susan,

You know what I think of #1 from the Dailies, but I think I like #2 the best. The flower really is striking isolated against the black background.

Very nice series! Maybe the Bee is not as sharp as you like in the 2nd capture, but it is my favorite and look superb to me.

    Thanks for sharing,

Thanks Maestro! They are beautiful birds, although I noticed this one looked kinda shabby. I'm wondering if he is just a fledgling and doesn't have all of his feathers yet. They are hard to capture....very flighty!
