Notice in both shots the upper windows are shorter than on the lower floors. Most buildings are like that over here - they say it's to give the illusion of more height.
I'm always trying to get a decent DOF shot and this one was a no brainer.
Not sure if you're asking for comments, but in case you are....
You missed it by *THAT* much.
Would have been an awesome image, if you had all of the moss in focus. Plus, I see a hard PS selection line on the rooftops. Unfortunately, because of these two issues, it doesn't quite work for me.
If you weren't looking for comments, please accept my apologies and nevermind. :uhoh

Comments are always welcome of course. Actually that's not a PS line at all - I just put the picture through my usual script that ups the brightness/contrast, sharpens a little and decreases the blue (why does every picture I take have so much blue??). The terminally flat gray of the Irish sky may have fooled you there.
Yeah, I didn't think it was PS, just that the background is far away. It's a neat effect, and one I might steal. The only thing I might change in the shot is to move the plant away from dead center. But as I said, a cool idea, and one well worth ripping off! :photo
