A hate to spoil the magic, but my guess is it was shot with the boy hanging straight down and the motion blur was added in Photoshop. None-the-less, it is both clever and well done. The masking prior to the blur isn't perfect so there is some bleed which is most apparent around the hands. I like this idea enough that when my boy gets a few years older, I am going steal it (hope you don't mind Paul) and do my own version.

I like number 2. Great effects and creativity.

In my opinion, a bit of motion blur should also been added to the hair to further the illusion of being swung around, and also to the boys sneaker as it appears that he is standing on his tippy toes.

Like number 1, because of the naturalness of the shot. The flowing hair and that smile, beautiful lighting...nice job

Good Luck in whichever you choose.

Although both nice shots, I actually prefer #1, for the reason that, to me, there seems to be much more joy in that photo. The (your?) little girl's expression seems to be more joyous and more natural as opposed to the boy.

#2 is very nice but that blur needs to be fixed up. just zoom in real close and cover everything with a fine blur tool.

#1 does do a better job of communicating joy. #2 is more about thrill and excitement than joy; #2 also feels staged when you look at it closely. However #2 has that eye catching grab value that is hard to put a price on. Personally, I think it is a judgement call that only the photographer can make.
