I'm not sure where to post this, but since it's regarding a Smugmug canvas print, I thought I'd try here!

I'm interested in hearing from people who have ordered a canvas print. I'm assuming the "rolled canvas" means it comes rolled and it's up to you to attach it to a frame? I'm wondering if portraits work well with this format, or is it better for landscape shots? How 'bout color vs B&W? Do canvases provide a lot of texture...too much for facial details? I would really like to try one but don't want to fork out the cash before knowing a bit more about them. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!
Elaine

Rolled means you will frame it, yes.

The quality is really excellent - landscapes, portraits, anything!

    Give one a try :)

you can see both my examples in our catalog are people and they look great (the mom of the father/daughter pic RAVES about it and it's in her entry-foyer of her home .... the other one is my daughter, and I'm staring at it now - top quality!)

    Elaine,
Buy with confidence. I've purchased two of these for portraits as gifts and they came out very nice. I ordered the mounted canvas, so I can't comment about the rolled.

Be sure to pay close attention to the sizing requirements so you don't lose part of your picture if you buy it mounted.

Enjoy! Andy will make it right if you are unhappy.
