I don't know if this is the best place to start this thread.

Parade magazine is hosting a photo contest to share your best Nature Photos. The deadline is on September 9, 2007 at 5:00 pm. Photographs must be your own and be under 5MB in jpg format. No cost to join and they do offer a few prizes for those who win.
