    So it does. But that's just how the horse is standing. If you look closely you can see the boards in the background where it seems that the horse's body should be.

    INCREDIBLE!!
    This is definitely a wall hanger. The composition, content , exposure, and focus are just perfect. The shadow directs the eye to and from the horse and the child.
    The spontaniety of the moment has been captured perfectly. The horse's expression reveals its gentle nature and enhances the interaction between the child and the horse. I like how the remainder of the horse has been subdued and doesn't compete with the essence of the image.

    This so resembles content that could be found in a Norman Rockwell painting.

    What a beautiful shot! I agree the head looks like it's mounted, I would probably crop in so you wouldn't have that and see what it looked like. Either way the expression and capture is priceless!
