thumbnails not showing initially

I'm using the Smugmug appearance. When the screen first comes up, the first image is shown in its large size on the right of the screen, however, the thumbnails do not show up until I mouse-over the large picture. Then they show up.

They then disappear when the fly-out window comes out and reappear when I move the mouse to get the fly-out to go away.

Additionally, the multi-page navigation numbers (1 though n screens of thumbnails, prev, next, etc) do not show up over the thumbnails until I mouse over the next> that's over the enlarged picture.

Seems to only happen on the first entry to gallery.

Help???

You're using IE6 I see - does this behavior happen in any browser?

Can you give us a specific gallery link please? That will help us to see what you are seeing, we hope

Still a problem
Cleared the cache, restarted the browser...still happening.

Any of my galleries have the following problem:
- The flyout window makes the thumbs go away (always)
- The thumb-page index over the thumbs does not show up until you mouse over the 'next >' link over the larger picture.

The thumbs not showing up initially seems more intermittent now for some odd reason.

None of the problems occur on Mozilla Firefox.

Has this hit the "bit-bucket"?
Is anyone looking at this problem? I still have it in IE.

The most consistent symptom is that the thumbnails diappear when the flyout window (over the large right-hand window) comes out...they reappear when the screen repaints to close the flyout window.

Also VERY consistent: The thumbnail page navigation does not show up until the mouse is passed over the 'Next>' link. If you go to my site, any of my galleries will exhibit this behavior.

Hi Gary,no it hasn't hit the bit bucket - I was traveling yesterday and today and so I'm glad you bumped the thread. BTW, you can always email our helpdesk for really, really fast support

I see the problem in IE6 - I'll have to have a specialist look and see why this is occurring on your site.

Ummm... I found the problem.

My header had an unclosed <div>...apparently, when I closed it, that did the trick.
