this is one of my favorite landscapes to date.... it's a shot of Mt. Shuksan, in the North Cascades of Washington state, about 60 miles east of Bellingham. i happened to hit it on a calm afternoon, no breeze to ruffle the water, not even an evil duck to leave a wake... this is a very popular spot with photographers, for obvious reasons, and this shot makes a killer 20x30 print! taken with a Canon 30D and Tamron SP24-135 lens, 1/25 @ f16...

    "Each picture captures a unplaceable momment." I am thinking about being a photographer when i'm older. I practice alot and hope this website will help me grow to become a better photographer and help me learn more!

    The sharpness of this picture is amazing.....and I agree...it does make you want to walk into the shot..what a stunning photograph.
