Hi Katlin wave.gif I like the relaxed pose, the nice smle, even the treatment with the sepia tone and vignetting. But is this image about your friend or a piece of old farm equipment?

I think it should be much tighter on your friend - the props should be relegated to secondary importance. Get in closer and post more - thumb.gif

Katlin, as the others have said, zoom in a bit so there is more of the person and less of the other stuff. Next make sure that you have more space in front of the person (the way they are looking) then behind them. This gives the effect of looking into the picture instead of looking out of it which is more natural to our brains.

Yes, but closer still. Do anther photo shoot with your friend and try a whole bunch of stuff. That way you can see what works and what doesn't (and we can help).

Also, you can post the original color versions for composition help, and then processed ones for comments on the processing. deal.gif

Do you mean like this.. so there is more room in the font of her?? Is that kinda what you mean? i love the idea where it will kinda look like she isn't looking in the camera. But not sure exactly how to do it.

    Thank you!
