Keeled Skimmer (dragonfly)

I mis-identified this one as a black tailed skimmer in a previous thread. They are the same color, except the BTS is longer and has a black tip on its tail.
All Canon gear: Xti (shutter priority 1/200, ISO 100) + 100mm macro lens + 500D diopter. MT-24EX macro flash set to a 4:1 ratio and -2 FEC.
I changed positions for this shot because I wanted to get the dirt bike path on the background to bring out the wings.
All Canon gear: Xti (manual mode F16, 1/200, ISO 100) + 100mm macro lens + 500D diopter for about 1.375 times life size. MT-24 macro flash set to a 4:1 ratio and -1/3 FEC. I had the ratio control set to high -should have set it to 1:1 and let the angle of the flash heads produce the shadows. Next time...
