Aloha,
After seeing the last member of my Thailand 2006 workshop board the Taxi for the Bangkok Airport; I decided to spend my last 3 days in Thailand visiting the Infamous 'Bridge over the river Kwai'. As I was now alone and care free I decided to take the 3rd. class train out to Kanchanaburi the small rail stop along the Kwai river within walking distance of the infamous bridge. Four hours on a wooden plank seat was going to be a challenge for my old travel weary bottom, but I figured I would get plenty of 'local' type images.
I did get lots of great shots and this is one that I would like to share with you all. Although not a local image ( young American boy traveling on the cheap with his parents) I class it as one of my better images given the poor lighting conditions inside the railway carriage and the harsh Thai sun outside, not to mention that its a little out of focus given to the fact that the train was swaying around and I had forgotten to change to an image stabilized lens.... Anyways I hope you enjoy it.

Why thank you Jan, it was quite a difficult shot as the lighting was bad and I had to capture the moment before the young boy spotted me!
