We got to visit a couple weeks ago, and I'm glad because the lighthouse may be closing to tours soon.

The remaining keeper house (there used to be another one). Now it's a bed and breakfast.

Nice photos. Why are they going to close off the tours?

Thanks! I guess all the traffic is taking its toll on the place, so in order to preserve it, access will become limited. I'm not sure about the time-line on that, but that's what the volunteers there that day told us.

Really like that first one. It could make a nice puzzle! thumb.gif

Thanks, Aaron! I think it would make a challenging puzzle!

RustingInPeace...yes, it looks like we must have been at the same spot. I think it's quite popular. There were a couple big guns on tripods there when I hopped out of the car for a few shots with my 28-75 handheld! I was happy to capture the light flashing too!

DJTHEMAC...glad you enjoyed! Hope you can visit "home" soon!

Excellent shots. You've made me add an extra stop on my trip to the PNW this coming Aug-Sep. Thanks for the inspiration. Number 1 is my favorite.
