    I saw your journey thread.

Lovely series of images from slot canyons.thumb.gif

I think your first image could be really dynamite with a little more shadow detail in the darker areas of the image. It is just much too dark right now for my taste. Kind of like this is what I would suggest

Antelope and other slot canyons are just a blast to shoot, aren't they??

Thanks for the post and comments. I figured not everyone would like that shot but I do. I like the negative space and how the light makes a ribbon effect.

I have about 300 photos from 3 slot canyons with a wide range of exposures.

You think more like this one?

These are great - and I like #1 as is. I found the sandstone shapes to be amazing and so interesting last year at Zion. I would love to visit the other canyons.

    Thanks for sharing

    I like the original
I like the original better. I think that by lightening it up that it makes it less dramatic. I like the way that with it darker that your eye is drawn through the whole picture. But this is my humble opinion. Great shots and I loved your other thread.

I saw the Journey thread and thought you all did a great job. I really liked the uniqueness of your portraits in those canyons as well!

First and third are really gorgeous. Great color and lines.
