Last Saturday my son asked me to go and shoot kitesurf, which I did with pleasure. :D
Others and my son are the founders of the Portuguese Kiteboard Association which photos can be seen here.
Here are some photos I shot.
I used 2 cameras: 350 D + 16 35 f/2.8 L USM and 20 D + 1.4 multiplier + 70-200 f/2.8 IS L USM. A flash 430 EX for some pictures, a CPF and a tripod.
If you wish to see bigger photos, please click on the pictures.

Thank you for watching.

That would have been a great event to attend Antonio.
They sure get some speed up with those kites don't they.
I would imagine when your learning to do that it would kill your arms just gripping onto the bar.

Great series .... Nicely Done Antonio clap.gif ... Skippy

I miss Portugal. I will be going for Christmas, but we will likely be stuck in Gondomar "com a familia." I'll try to negotiate a trip south, cause I think this board needs some Sintra pics.

How about, it Antonio, you live in Lisbon, right? Do you ahve any Sintra shots to show us?

    It's a shame Nikolai, but I hardly know Portugal.eek7.gif
Of course I have been to Sintra. I wish I had some shots to show you.
Please let me know when you are coming. I mean exactly, dates and so.
Who knows if we can meet ?
In Gondomar - too cold - or in Setubal where we live.
May be we could eat some fish together the 4 of us ! ...thumb.gif
Thank you and be Healthy, your Portuguese wife and yourself !

    Howdy Antonio,

Wonderful Images, my Wife and I were amazed at how fast these things are when we happened by Kiteboarders the other side of Cascais on our trip last year.

Beautiful Shots, great colors and action!!
