07/07/07 - Dgrin Global Image Day

Let's do it again! On Saturday 07/07/07, head for a nice spot and bring your image to the Global Dgrin Table! :clap

Does not have to be the same time, just the same day. Morning, noon or sunset, single shot or panorama - your choice, but it's gonna be only ONE image per person, so better make it nice. :deal
Don't forget to map it with a wonderful Smugmug geotagging feature.:thumb

Then our omnipowerful mods will help us to move them all to a single dgrin gallery. :bow

    We did this 2 years ago with the Dgrin Sky Shoot. Everyone shooting towards the sky at exactly the same moment.

    Well, this is just for fun, not for a technique. No limits (Star*Explorer's slogan:-), except the ONE and the same date and ONE entry per person.

    great idea! but of course everyone's 7th doesn't happen at the same time. Gus in Australia will be shooting a day before you and I Nikko.

    I think this is fine, Angelino!
    Let's keep it simple and shoot any time during 7/7/7 your local time (just like airlines do).
    I hope this will make it more fun and will allow for a greater variety of shots, as opposed to a fixed time and target.

    so cameras will be on me and some extra Dgrin shot will be done.

    I'm in, too.

    I highly suggest that images include location data; i.e., where the photographer was.

    Then, oganize the image gallery starting at the international dateline and go west. That should give Gus, Skippy, and all other dgrinners "down there" another advantage!

    One could even get approximate latitude/longitude data and pin the images to a google map.mwink.gif

    You better show us some pictures of that anyway! A friend is flying to Seattle for the rollout, I wish I could join him. Looking forward to seeing the photos.
